Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Accountant / Accounts Executive to independently oversee daily accounting activities. This position involves maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

Key Duties

Manage daily accounting operations autonomously.
Maintain accounting books using Tally software.
Handle expense tracking and reimbursement documentation.
Create and manage sales and purchase invoices.
Record journal entries ensuring precise bookkeeping.
Manage all GST-related activities including filing returns and conducting reconciliations.
Calculate TDS, manage deductions, make payments, and file returns accordingly.
Conduct bank and ledger reconciliations.
Maintain comprehensive financial records and ensure compliance with relevant laws.
Liaise with auditors, consultants, and other stakeholders as needed.
Prepare periodic Management Information System (MIS) reports and deliver financial data to assist management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or an equivalent qualification; Master's in Commerce (M.Com) considered advantageous.
At least 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in accounting.
Proficient in using Tally accounting software.
In-depth knowledge of GST, TDS, invoicing, journal entries, and fundamental accounting principles.
Strong command of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
Capable of working independently managing end-to-end accounts responsibilities.
High attention to detail with excellent accuracy and organizational capabilities.
