Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our Accounts and Compliance team. The ideal candidate will handle various accounting functions including bookkeeping, ledger scrutiny, and supporting taxation-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting and bookkeeping entries using Tally software.
• Perform ledger review and bank reconciliations with precision.
• Assist with journal entries and the finalization of accounts.
• Ensure financial records are precise and prepared for audit processes.
• Support GST, TDS, and other tax-related accounting activities.
• Collaborate with clients and assist senior team members as needed.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Proficiency in Tally Prime and MS Excel application.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and reconciliation techniques.
• Detail-oriented approach with a focus on compliance requirements.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with clients.

Candidate Eligibility

• Commerce graduate required; B.Com is preferred, M.Com is an advantage.
• At least one year of relevant experience in CA firms, tax consultancies, or accounting and compliance roles; fresh graduates will not be considered.
• Demonstrates a strong sense of ownership and determination to complete tasks under pressure.

Compensation

The monthly salary range for this position is between 12,000 and 16,000 INR.
