Finance Department Role
The finance team at AniCura supports clinics and practices with business management questions and manages the entire accounting function, including payroll accounting. The department encompasses controlling, bookkeeping, data analytics, and finance integration.
Position Overview
We are expanding and seek a full-time Accountant for our Munich team immediately.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for accounting inquiries and manage the accounting mailbox.
- Record and review postings of ongoing business transactions.
- Handle account reviews and reconciliations.
- Participate in preparation and execution of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Assist with various tasks within financial accounting.
- Act as liaison with authorities and internal and external auditors.
- Take responsibility for calculation and monitoring of provisions and accruals.
Candidate Profile
- Possess certification as an IHK Financial Accountant or have a commercial education coupled with experience in financial accounting; advanced IHK certification as a Certified Accountant is advantageous.
- Ability to independently familiarize oneself with financial accounting tasks and an understanding of related processes.
- Strong communication skills and coordination with colleagues and supervisors.
- Proactive, committed, with a hands-on approach and the ability to think beyond immediate tasks.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working autonomously.
- Proficient with MS Office applications, with particular expertise in Excel.
- Fluent in German and possess good command of English.
