Role Summary

This is a contract accounting position for a client engagement, open to candidates with US accounting experience. The work is fully remote and can be performed from any location.

What You’ll Handle

• Keep financial records accurate, current, and aligned with US GAAP.
• Draft and examine monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements.
• Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Support tax-related filings and help maintain compliance with federal and state rules.
• Work with other teams to assist financial planning and analysis activities.

Skills and Experience Needed

• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Hands-on experience with month-end close activities.
• Experience reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies.
• Understanding of US tax compliance for business entities.
• Familiarity with accounting tools such as QuickBooks or NetSuite.
• Careful attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
