Overview

Join Microsoft in Doha, Qatar, as an Account Technology Strategist through the Erada Internship program, designed to empower Qatari nationals by developing skills and accelerating employability within the tech industry. This role allows you to guide clients in adopting Microsoft technologies, driving digital transformation and business value through strategic engagements and industry-specific solutions.

Program Structure

The Erada Internship spans six months, full-time, split into two phases: an initial month dedicated to onboarding and skill development, followed by five months focused on practical, on-the-job training.

  • Phase 1 - Onboarding & Skilling Bootcamp: Introduces Microsoft’s culture, mission, and strategic goals; technical training for global Microsoft certifications; and professional development covering project and change management, communication skills, innovation, and time management.
  • Phase 2 - On-The-Job Training: Hands-on internships shadowing experienced professionals, mentorship opportunities, involvement in digital transformation initiatives, and advanced technical training in AI, machine learning, and cloud computing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business data provided by clients and internal teams to contribute to strategic planning efforts.
  • Develop foundational technical roadmaps that outline the customer's digital transformation strategy and success milestones.
  • Map customer's business goals to Microsoft's solution areas and industry priority scenarios to support the sales process.
  • Identify and respond to client opportunities, creating demand and resolving specific challenges.
  • Assist in account planning by supporting budgeting, forecasting, and tracking to align with financial and operational objectives.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Enrollment in or completion of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Qatari citizenship and legal authorization to work in Qatar.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • A passion for technology and customer-centric mindset.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities alongside analytical and presentation skills.
  • Balanced expertise in both technical and business domains.
  • Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Experience in technical consulting, product development, or technical sales is advantageous.
