Job description
Opportunity
This is a newly introduced position for a commercially minded account manager to join a top-performing field sales function. The role sits at the customer-facing edge of the business and will play an important part in supporting continued growth.
You will own a key territory covering TN, CT and ME postcodes, with the main emphasis on expansion and generating new business. Alongside developing current relationships, the role is aimed at widening market presence, opening fresh opportunities and identifying untapped potential.
The ideal candidate will bring a consultative style, taking time to understand each dealership’s objectives, challenges and plans, and working in close partnership to help them progress.
What the role involves
- Develop both new and existing dealer partnerships to create profitable business.
- Chase and secure fresh opportunities across the assigned territory.
- Serve as a reliable adviser, giving insight, recommendations and support that help dealers succeed.
- Design and execute territory growth plans using data and market intelligence.
- Hold regular dealer meetings to review results, exchange ideas and uncover opportunities.
- Stay informed about market movements, competitor activity and customer expectations.
What we are looking for
- Solid sales experience within motor finance or automotive financial services.
- A consultative approach that focuses on listening, understanding and adding value.
- Confidence in building relationships and influencing stakeholders at different levels.
- A strong drive for growth and new business, with evidence of delivering results.
- Good planning, organisational and communication abilities.
- Experience in motor finance or wider financial services is preferred.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the territory.
- Applications can only be considered for candidates with no more than 6 points on their driving licence.
Benefits
This is a real growth opportunity where you can shape your territory, build something new and have a meaningful impact. You will be backed by a collaborative, experienced team and join a company that values practical ideas, partnership and doing what is right for customers and colleagues.
Reward package includes an annual bonus, company car, employer pension contribution of up to 10%, private medical cover with BUPA, and 38 days of holiday including bank holidays.
Additional information
The hiring process includes full referencing, together with financial and criminal record checks.

The employer welcomes applications from people of all backgrounds and is committed to a respectful, diverse and compassionate workplace, including candidates of any age, disability, gender identity, marital status, race, faith or belief, sexual orientation, socioeconomic background, and people who are pregnant or on family leave.
