About the role
This position sits within Google’s Large Customer Sales organization and focuses on helping major businesses grow through advertising and commerce solutions. The role is centered on consultative selling, building strong client relationships, and turning customer goals into effective Google advertising strategies. You will work closely with clients to understand their business priorities, use Google product expertise to recommend the right solutions, and help deliver measurable outcomes across multiple marketing objectives.
As part of a team of strategic sales partners and industry-focused advisors, you’ll contribute to the evolution of advertising in the AI era while supporting leading brands and agencies across a range of business needs and sub-verticals.
Location preference
Applicants may indicate a preferred work location from Bengaluru, Karnataka, India or Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
Minimum qualifications
Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands-on professional experience, along with at least 5 years working in digital advertising, consultative sales, digital media sales, business development, online media, or digital marketing. The role also requires the ability to travel up to 40% of the time for customer meetings and training.
Preferred qualifications
A master’s degree in a business-related field is preferred. Additional value is given to candidates with 3 years of experience running digital marketing and advertising campaigns and managing relationships with customers or agencies, as well as 1 year of leadership experience.
Responsibilities
- Use a consultative sales approach to understand each client’s business goals and map Google ad products to those objectives.
- Own assigned product targets for managed clients and consistently deliver quarterly and annual business goals.
- Make sure client marketing objectives are met and help improve their overall business success.
- Build a clear understanding of advertiser needs and convert market and consumer behavior insights into useful recommendations.
- Partner across multiple sub-verticals as business opportunities arise.
