About EatClub
EatClub supports the hospitality sector by connecting customers with restaurants and bars through innovative technology. Serving over 2 million customers, the platform offers real-time deals of up to 50% off bills and aids 5,000+ venues in filling tables, boosting foot traffic, and increasing revenue. Recognized as #11 in Deloitte's 2025 Tech Fast 50, EatClub is a fast-growing scale-up with over 150 team members, backed by industry leaders including Marco Pierre White.
Position Overview
As the company expands rapidly on the Gold Coast, this Account Manager role involves full responsibility over a portfolio of restaurant partners. The role combines relationship building, data analysis, and strategic planning to support venue success and maximize partner retention and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with restaurant partners within your assigned territory.
- Utilize performance dashboards to monitor partner success and identify risks.
- Proactively engage with partners to reduce churn and enhance long-term value.
- Lead onboarding, activation, and optimization processes for new partners.
- Identify growth opportunities such as campaigns, upselling, and feature adoption.
- Balance field visits with desk-based analysis and planning.
- Contribute feedback to improve account management workflows and reporting.
- Take ownership of portfolio optimization to ensure retention and growth.
- Participate in designing and testing interventions for partner performance enhancement.
- Collaborate on scaling efforts and support local market launches.
Candidate Profile
- 1 to 3 years of professional experience in Account Management, Customer Success, or related commercial roles.
- Proven track record with retention, churn reduction, or revenue growth targets.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities in both written and verbal formats.
- Comfortable working autonomously within structured frameworks.
- Capability to manage portfolios involving both on-site visits and analytical tasks.
- Additional preferred experience includes food tech, hospitality, marketplaces, or SaaS environments.
- Familiarity with territory-based or field roles and enthusiasm for data-driven decision making.
- Interest in process improvements and creating scalable operational methods.
- A proactive, curious attitude with confidence in building partner relationships.
- Adaptability to evolving processes typical of fast-growing organizations.
- Dedicated to delivering substantial value to partners beyond mere task completion.
Additional Information
Success in this position will mean expanding your territory's portfolio, increasing partner satisfaction and retention, and actively contributing to EatClub's growth in South Australia. Outstanding performers may gain opportunities to manage larger regions, lead new city launches, and influence the evolution of the broader Account Management function.
This role is not suitable if you prefer rigid processes without flexibility, desire solely desk or field work, are uncomfortable leveraging data in partner discussions, or lack interest in continuous improvement efforts.
Applicants are encouraged to apply even if they do not meet all listed criteria, as eagerness to develop is highly valued.
