Job description

About the company

Fin builds AI customer agents that help businesses deliver strong customer experiences around the clock. Its flagship product, Fin, supports customer service across the full journey, including support, sales, and ecommerce. The platform uses proprietary AI models to resolve complex issues end to end across channels with very little implementation effort, and it can also be paired with Intercom’s help desk to create a unified support system for modern teams.

Established in 2011, Fin has grown into one of the fastest-expanding companies in its space and is among the largest private software companies globally, with nearly 30,000 businesses using its products. The company emphasizes speed, ambition, and delivering clear value to customers.

Role overview

This position is for a German-speaking Account Manager focused on the mid-market segment. You will own growth across an existing EMEA portfolio, including German-speaking markets, while helping shape a world-class sales function. The role offers room for progression, ownership, and creative input in a fast-growing environment that supports internal development and promotion.

Key responsibilities

  • Own pipeline generation by expanding existing accounts and pursuing outbound opportunities within larger customer organizations.
  • Manage the renewal cycle proactively to protect revenue and strengthen long-term customer partnerships.
  • Use a disciplined, data-led sales approach to prioritize activity and deliver reliable weekly forecasts.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by using value-based selling and ROI analysis to address customer needs and guide them through the sales and account lifecycle.
  • Coordinate internal specialists, including Solution Engineers, CSMs, Product, and Marketing, to close complex opportunities successfully.
  • Build strong fluency in Fin’s product suite and AI capabilities so you can connect product value to customer KPIs and business outcomes.
  • Develop durable customer relationships by understanding support operations, business metrics, and executive priorities.

Required experience and skills

  • At least 5 years of experience closing B2B SaaS deals, with a strong history of meeting and exceeding quota; background in CS, CX, or CRM is an added advantage.
  • Ability to create your own pipeline while effectively managing an existing book of business.
  • Strong commercial judgement, including experience with value-based selling, ROI articulation, and negotiation.
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn AI and technical concepts independently, with the ability to explain them in business terms to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working across functions, leading projects, and keeping stakeholders aligned.
  • Clear, adaptable written and spoken communication skills.
  • High coachability, intellectual curiosity, and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Fluency in German at a solid business level is required.

Preferred qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with Value Selling, Command of the Message, and/or MEDDPICC.
  • Experience selling AI-enabled products or automation tools.
  • Additional European language skills.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation plus equity in a high-growth startup.
  • Lunch provided every weekday, along with snacks and a fully stocked kitchen.
  • Regular pay reviews to recognize strong performance.
  • Unlimited access to Claude Code and leading AI tools, with experimentation actively encouraged.
  • Pension scheme with employer match up to 4%.
  • Life assurance, plus comprehensive health and dental coverage for you and your dependents.
  • Flexible paid time off.
  • Paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of paternity leave.
  • Cycle-to-Work Scheme and secure bike storage.
  • MacBooks as standard, with Windows available for certain roles where needed.
