The Account Manager position is responsible for driving sales within a designated territory, focusing on managing relationships with distributors, dealers, prescribing physicians, and end users. The goal is to meet or exceed defined sales targets while fostering strong customer connections.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage sales activities in the specified region to achieve volume and profit objectives.
- Develop and maintain market intelligence to sustain or increase market share for assigned products.
- Enhance sales performance and customer satisfaction among existing clients.
- Build business relationships with medical distributors, dealers, physicians, and hospital authorities to establish or expand market presence.
- Maintain detailed records of distributor activities, assisting dealers in increasing product sales toward defined goals.
- Gather and report competition and relevant market information regularly.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of company products, services, technical support, financing, and shipping procedures.
- Create mutually beneficial outcomes by helping customers differentiate themselves and expand while ensuring company profitability.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Any graduate degree, preferably Bachelor of Engineering or a science-related discipline; MBA or PGDM is preferred.
- At least 8 to 10 years of sales experience in the medical equipment industry.
- Experience with medical imaging, hospital monitoring, and critical care products is essential.

Workplace Environment
This role requires a full-time on-site presence at company facilities in Bhubaneswar. Office-based team members are expected to work on-site at least three days a week. Fieldwork typically occurs at customer or supplier locations.
