Role overview

Fresha is hiring an entrepreneurial and results-oriented Account Executive to join its commercial team in Vancouver. The position owns the complete sales journey, from lead generation and outreach to deal closure, with a focus on helping beauty and wellness businesses grow through Fresha’s platform.

This is a high-impact opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-moving environment, building relationships from the ground up, and consistently working toward ambitious targets.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage a high-volume pipeline from initial prospecting through to closing
  • Drive new business through outbound activity such as calls, emails, and walk-ins, as well as inbound leads
  • Deliver efficient, customized product demonstrations that clearly show value
  • Close opportunities quickly while still delivering a strong customer experience
  • Identify the pain points of small and medium businesses and present Fresha as a growth-focused solution
  • Develop trust with owners and key decision-makers
  • Consistently achieve and outperform monthly targets and activity expectations
  • Keep the CRM pipeline organized and forecasting accurate
  • Share market feedback that can help improve messaging and product direction
  • Take on additional duties as needed to support the team and business goals

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in SMB sales, business development, or account executive positions
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or surpassing quota in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Strong ability to prospect and close, with comfort managing the full sales cycle independently
  • A proactive hunter mindset paired with confidence in consultative selling conversations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly with small business owners
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
  • Comfort operating in a high-energy, target-driven setting
  • Bonus exposure to SaaS, marketplace, or payments businesses
  • Bonus experience or familiarity with beauty, wellness, or local services industries
  • A competitive, growth-oriented, self-starting, and curious approach to work
  • Willingness to be coached, improve regularly, and thrive in an early-stage environment

Interview process

  • Screen call with a Talent Team member, lasting 30 minutes
  • Skills and experience interview with a commercial leader, lasting 45 minutes
  • Culture fit conversation with the General Manager, lasting 30 minutes
  • Presentation interview with the Commercial leadership team, lasting 60 minutes

The company aims to complete interviews and share feedback within 2 weeks. Applications are reviewed manually, and while the target is to assess them within 7 days, this may occasionally take longer due to high volume.

The compensation for this role is $100K to $120K OTE.
