Account Executive

Job Overview

We are seeking a meticulous Accountant with 2 to 4 years of experience, ideally within the UAE's Real Estate, Banking, Insurance, or Hospitality industries. The candidate must have a firm grasp of bookkeeping, financial statements, VAT compliance, bank reconciliations, and local accounting rules.

Key Duties

• Maintain day-to-day bookkeeping and financial records.
• Record all financial transactions, including journal entries and ledger postings.
• Conduct bank and account reconciliations regularly.
• Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
• Compile monthly financial reports and assist with year-end closing procedures.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns adhering to UAE Federal Tax Authority standards.
• Keep detailed records of rental income, service charges, hospitality revenues, and related expenses.
• Support budgeting processes, auditing efforts, cash flow monitoring, and financial reporting tasks.
• Ensure full compliance with UAE accounting principles, IFRS, VAT, Corporate Tax, and other financial regulations.
• Maintain proper financial documentation and establish strong internal controls.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• 2 to 4 years of accounting experience, preferably within the UAE market.
• Experience in Real Estate or Hospitality sectors is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP, bank reconciliations, Microsoft Excel, Accounts Payable/Receivable, and General Ledger management.
• Solid understanding of VAT laws, basics of UAE Corporate Tax, IFRS standards, and Federal Tax Authority compliance.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
• High degree of accuracy, integrity, meticulous attention to detail, and capability to meet deadlines.
