Role overview

This position owns the complete sales journey for enterprise accounts in Singapore and other ASEAN markets, including financial services, manufacturing, energy, telecommunications, and the public sector. The role spans lead generation through deal closure, with responsibility for building relationships, shaping value propositions, and driving territory growth.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who enjoys uncovering customer needs, translating product value into business outcomes, and working across teams to support growth. You will work closely with Customer Success, Sales Development, Marketing, Sales Engineering, Product, and Engineering while helping shape market feedback and product priorities.

This is a highly autonomous role in a fast-changing environment, suited to someone comfortable operating with limited structure and strong ownership.

Key responsibilities

  • Generate new enterprise opportunities through outbound prospecting and relationship development with key decision-makers.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers by understanding their goals, challenges, and business priorities, then tailoring solutions to create measurable impact.
  • Partner with channel collaborators to expand outreach and improve customer outcomes across the region.
  • Work with Product and Engineering on strategic customer initiatives, especially for large enterprise deployments.
  • Coordinate with Sales Development Representatives to strengthen top-of-funnel pipeline activity.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from first contact and proof-of-concept through to final deal closure.
  • Represent the voice of the market and feed customer insights back into Product and Engineering planning.

Ideal candidate profile

  • You bring 10+ years of enterprise B2B sales experience with a strong record of closing large deals and exceeding quota.
  • Experience selling technical offerings such as developer tools, APIs, or AI/NLP solutions is an advantage.
  • You have successfully worked with channel partners to progress deals and deliver shared revenue outcomes.
  • You are comfortable with ambiguity and can operate both strategically and hands-on as an early sales hire.
  • You are curious about Agentic AI and NLP and are eager to develop deep product expertise.
  • You communicate clearly and confidently, listen well, build strong relationships, and can engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior executives.
