About the role

BioRender is hiring a driven Account Executive in Ireland with a strong growth mindset and a persistent, customer-focused style. In this position, you will work closely with leadership, customer success, and business development teams to create a strong customer experience while contributing to revenue growth.

The role centers on selling to academic and research institutions across Ireland and the wider EMEA region. You will own the full sales process, from first outreach through to closing, and help strengthen BioRender’s presence in the scientific community.

This is a remote position for candidates located in Ireland.

Responsibilities

  • Own the complete sales journey, including prospecting, qualification, negotiation, and closing, with academic institutions in Ireland and across EMEA.
  • Develop deep product knowledge so you can clearly explain BioRender’s platform, value, and scientific applications.
  • Meet and surpass revenue goals for your assigned territory.
  • Keep CRM data accurate and use quota tracking to monitor performance.
  • Build and implement territory growth strategies that uncover new revenue opportunities.
  • Share insights on regional market patterns, customer needs, and emerging opportunities.
  • Become highly knowledgeable about the academic and research environment in Ireland.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product to improve adoption and customer outcomes.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of SaaS sales experience with responsibility for the full sales cycle.
  • Professional fluency in English; additional European languages are considered an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel at least 25% within the EMEA region.
  • Experience selling technical SaaS solutions.
  • A degree in life sciences such as biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, or biomedical engineering is preferred.
  • A demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with a wide range of stakeholders, including scientists and research leaders.
  • A determined, resourceful, and strategic approach to sales.
  • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to break down complex ideas into simple terms.
  • Self-driven mindset with a clear commitment to continuous improvement.
