Position Purpose
The company is looking for a motivated, results-driven team player to strengthen its sales division. As an Account Executive, candidates must be experienced in identifying and closing deals, surpassing sales targets by clearly conveying OFX’s value proposition. This role offers a path of exciting career advancement opportunities within a growing and dynamic organization.
This position can be based at the Auckland CBD office or performed remotely anywhere in New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the entire sales lifecycle end-to-end, achieving monthly revenue targets by proactively closing deals.
- Engage professionally with prospective clients via web conferencing, telephone, email, and face-to-face meetings.
- Utilize strong knowledge of business and financial operations to communicate and negotiate effectively with finance leaders, accountants, controllers, C-level executives, and decision makers.
- Collaborate with internal departments to guide new clients seamlessly through onboarding processes.
- Ensure comprehensive and accurate client data is maintained within Salesforce CRM.
- Stay current on OFX’s product offerings and competitive landscape to effectively position solutions.
- Consistently meet and exceed revenue goals while maintaining a robust pipeline of potential clients.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 5 years experience successfully managing complete sales cycles in SMB or Mid-Market B2B SaaS, payments, or foreign exchange sectors, with proven record closing deals generating annual revenue of $50,000+.
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or surpass sales targets in competitive, fast-moving environments.
- In-depth understanding of SaaS and/or FX sales processes tailored for SMB and Mid-Market clients.
- Strong consultative sales skills, adept at educating customers and customizing solutions to fit individual needs.
- Industry experience selling to finance professionals including CPAs, accountants, bookkeeping services, and banking institutions.
- Proficient with SaaS platforms and comfortable conducting product demonstrations via web conferencing tools.
- Detail-oriented, experienced with Salesforce CRM for precise forecasting and record keeping.
- Creative problem solver capable of identifying client challenges and developing appropriate solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, able to build rapport quickly and professionally present solutions.
- Motivated team player with competitive spirit, adaptable to fast-paced environments, persistent and goal driven.
- Highly organized with strong time management and multitasking skills, focused on operational efficiency.
