About the role
Dune is seeking an Account Executive to grow new business across its data offerings, with particular emphasis on DataShare and enterprise analytics agreements. The role sits at the center of the commercial team and involves working opportunities from the self-serve user base, creating outbound pipeline, and converting product usage into long-term data partnerships.
This position is consultative and requires comfort selling technical, complex products to enterprise teams, financial institutions, data organizations, and researchers. It is intended for someone who is proactive, can generate business independently, and has a strong background in B2B crypto sales.
Location requirement: candidates must be based in New York; applicants from other locations will not be considered.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the entire enterprise sales process for Dune’s data products, including discovery, scoping, demos, technical discussions, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Identify expansion opportunities within the self-serve customer base by tracking power users and spikes in usage through internal analytics and CRM tools such as HubSpot.
- Run outbound sales activity aimed at researchers, crypto-native funds, exchanges, DAOs, and venture firms that depend on onchain data.
- Turn dashboard usage and product behavior into tailored commercial proposals that support conversion to paid contracts.
Candidate profile
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a proven record in crypto-focused B2B sales and understands how to sell data or analytics products into sophisticated buyers. Familiarity with the data challenges faced by researchers, funds, traditional finance teams, or protocol teams will be important.
Experience building pipeline from scratch is expected, including outreach through channels such as Telegram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and the Dune platform itself. The role also requires comfort qualifying warm inbound leads and managing CRM pipelines, with HubSpot experience preferred. Being based in NYC is a hard requirement.
