Job description
Role Overview
We are looking for a senior Account Executive to accelerate business expansion across Australia and New Zealand. This is a strategic sales position with revenue targets aimed at enterprise and mid-market segments, focusing on cultivating strong executive connections and sustaining steady revenue growth.
Key Duties
- Surpass annual and quarterly sales goals throughout the ANZ region.
- Formulate and implement detailed territory and account strategies to boost pipeline and revenue generation.
- Identify, qualify, and close new business deals within large and mid-sized organizations.
- Establish and maintain trusted relationships with C-level executives, IT, DevOps, security leaders, and other decision-makers.
- Manage complex sales processes from discovery to negotiation and closure.
- Collaborate effectively with Sales Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, and Partners to optimize sales opportunities.
- Keep Salesforce data up-to-date for pipeline tracking and forecasting.
- Foster channel and alliance partnerships to extend market reach.
- Deliver persuasive presentations, demos, executive briefings, and business cases.
- Stay informed of competitive activity and market developments in Cybersecurity, DevOps, and CI/CD domains.
- Represent the company at relevant industry conferences, events, and client meetings.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 7 years in B2B technology sales with consistent overachievement of quotas (ideally 110%+).
- Proven expertise in selling Cybersecurity, DevOps, CI/CD platforms, Application Release Automation, or enterprise SaaS solutions.
- Track record managing complex sales cycles targeting enterprises, government bodies, financial and telecom sectors, or regulated industries.
- Strong communication skills tailored to both technical and executive audiences along with excellent negotiation capabilities.
- Willingness to travel up to 30-40% within Australia and New Zealand.
Preferred Background
- Experienced Salesforce CRM user, adept in pipeline management and sales forecasting.
- Familiarity with DevOps platforms such as GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or Bitbucket.
- Knowledge in Application Security, DevSecOps, Release Automation, or Compliance is beneficial.
- Established connections within ANZ enterprise IT, security, and software delivery circles.
- Work experience in high-growth SaaS or software companies is an advantage.
Success Criteria
- Consistently meeting or exceeding quarterly and yearly revenue objectives.
- Maintaining precise sales forecasts and pipeline hygiene within Salesforce.
- Building a robust sales pipeline with 3-4 times quota coverage.
- Expanding company footprint and nurturing strategic customer and partner relationships across ANZ.

Additional Information
This role is fully remote within Australia, yet requires traveling approximately 30-40% across Australia and New Zealand. Candidates must reside in and hold eligibility to work in Australia. Compensation includes a competitive base salary of 175000 AUD plus unlimited commission and accelerators for surpassing sales targets. Employment is full-time and permanent.
