About the role
The Account Executive will be responsible for expanding and managing the Lilly Pulitzer Signature Store portfolio. This role focuses on building both new and repeat business by translating sales plans into action, tracking performance against projections, and strengthening relationships with each account.
The position calls for strong communication with accounts across brand storytelling, visual presentation, store operations, commercial growth, and product knowledge.
Key responsibilities
- Own the annual sales plan for the assigned portfolio, with accountability for initial projections and repeat-order growth.
- Stay fully informed on the performance of the portfolio and be able to discuss business results at any time.
- Partner with the broader Wholesale team to support market sell-in four times each year.
- Present product assortments, guide bookings, and finalize seasonal orders during market activity, which may happen remotely, in person, or at selected trade shows.
- Arrive at each season with strong product knowledge and prepared recommendations.
- Take a major role in planning market activities specifically for signature stores.
- Prepare business reports and analyze portfolio performance and overall business health.
- Act as the connection point between the portfolio and the brand by sharing updates, tools, and business needs.
- Maintain regular communication with accounts and build strong, lasting relationships.
- Support account presentation of the brand and travel to accounts when needed to provide hands-on support.
- Understand the condition of each account and help owners and managers with business development, sales planning, and growth strategy.
- Keep current on Lilly Pulitzer’s position in the market, including trends, opportunities, and market shifts.
- Be prepared to take on additional duties outside the core responsibilities when needed.
Qualifications
- A four-year college degree is required.
- Ideally, candidates will have 2 to 4 years of experience in retail, buying, or wholesale.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building abilities are required.
- Comfort working independently without the support of a large team is important.
- Working knowledge of Joor, Looker, Outlook, Microsoft Office tools, and Adobe is required.
- Strong multitasking skills are necessary.
Work style and other details
This is a full-time salaried exempt role and is not eligible for overtime. Standard company benefits are included. The role can be performed fully remote, with travel to the home office in King of Prussia, PA and showrooms in New York City and Palm Beach, FL, or in a hybrid setup based out of the King of Prussia office.
For remote applicants, preference is given to candidates based in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, or North Carolina. Domestic travel is required, and travel frequency will vary based on supervisory direction.
Because the business is seasonal, additional working hours may be needed during peak periods. The role is reviewed annually and requires consistent collaboration in line with the company’s core values and leadership qualities.
