Role Overview
This field-based Strategic Account Executive role reports to the RVP for ANZ and owns an assigned territory focused on new business acquisition and expansion opportunities in the enterprise segment. The position is supported by internal resources, a broad technology stack, and a global partner network.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, execute, track, and refine a personal sales plan that supports regional targets and business priorities.
- Communicate the company’s value proposition clearly to customers to grow commercial opportunities.
- Lead negotiations and close complex agreements with support from global partners.
- Share sales updates, pipeline status, and forecasts with senior leadership.
- Develop pricing proposals and customer offers, including training and professional services components, and contribute to RFP responses.
- Relay customer insights and market feedback to marketing, customer success, product, and engineering teams.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to secure specialist support when needed.
Experience and Qualifications
- Several years of field-based, quota-carrying experience selling enterprise software solutions.
- Strong history of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Demonstrated success in closing strategic, high-value deals with long and complex sales cycles.
- Existing network of senior-level contacts within relevant industries.
- Proven ability to work effectively with strategic buyers.
- Strong understanding of the major market and industry forces driving change.
- Experience working with regional, national, or global partners and system integrators.
- Training or hands-on experience in value selling and account planning methods.
