About the Role

The Account Director position within our Enterprise Business Unit involves leading major client accounts with a focus on driving measurable growth and strategic advisory. This is a full-time remote opportunity, ideally suitable for candidates based in Canada but not limited to that location.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage and serve as the chief strategic partner for up to 3 to 5 enterprise clients with monthly advertising budgets of $500K or more.
  • Function as the executive adviser at the client’s leadership level, influencing performance and strategic alignment.
  • Challenge conventional thinking and agency performance to enhance profitability and scalability.
  • Lead comprehensive data-driven reviews, focusing on metrics like Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), cost per lead, conversion rates, and downstream sales metrics.
  • Maintain proactive communication to anticipate client requirements and provide clear recommendations.
  • Develop strong relationships with VP-level and C-suite executives based on trust and mutual respect.
  • Drive account retention and revenue growth through forecasting and timely identification of upsell opportunities.
  • Analyze marketing funnel performance across multiple channels and collaborate with analytics and media teams to align marketing outcomes with business goals.
  • Produce actionable insights from complex data that empower executive decision-making.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, including media, creative, conversion rate optimization, and analytics to ensure campaign success.
  • Exemplify ownership mentality, proactive leadership, and clear communication to instill confidence.
  • Oversee all client interactions, consistently delivering strategic progress and value through data-backed narratives.
  • Build resources and tools to enable scalable and efficient delivery without awaiting direction.
  • Coach and mentor account teams, refining processes, and contributing to the growth of the Enterprise Unit.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years of client-facing account leadership, including at least 4 years within performance marketing or agency roles.
  • At least 2 years in supervisory or leadership positions.
  • Experience managing large enterprise accounts with monthly spending exceeding $500,000, engaging with VP and C-suite levels.
  • Strong command of paid digital media channels and interpreting comprehensive funnel performance data.
  • Track record of successful client retention, upselling, and proactive account management.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills suited for executive-level environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, analytics, or an equivalent professional background.
  • Self-motivated, curious, and able to thrive in fast-moving settings.
  • Willingness and ability to travel quarterly to the United States for client engagements and industry events.
  • Preferred: Experience in home improvement, home services, or lead generation sectors.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual salary range between $120,000 and $150,000 plus performance bonuses.
