CNC Agency, previously known as Coffee 'n Clothes, is an experiential marketing agency rooted in culture and focused on building meaningful connections. The team develops experiences, narratives, and products that audiences enjoy and that help brands expand. Its approach centers on people, combining strategy, creativity, production, and cultural insight to transform ideas into memorable brand experiences.
The agency is hiring an Account Director to guide clients and internal teams from early concept development through execution. In this role, you will shape experiential strategies, strengthen client relationships, and deliver work that creates measurable business value.
What You Will Do
- Serve as a dependable strategic advisor to clients from initial discussions through delivery and after-event review
- Design experiential approaches that capture attention and support business outcomes
- Present fresh, differentiated ideas that position CNC strongly and help grow client accounts
- Manage and expand priority accounts with a focus on client retention and additional growth opportunities
- Prepare and oversee scopes of work, while identifying situations where added investment may be appropriate
- Handle several major accounts and activations at the same time
- Coordinate creative, production, and strategy teams so projects are delivered on brief, within budget, and on schedule
- Build polished client-facing presentations that clearly explain strategy, creative direction, and expected impact
- Set success metrics, track performance, and review outcomes to encourage repeat work and improve processes
- Manage project finances, including budgets, margins, and efficient allocation of team resources
- Guide, coach, and support Account Managers, Coordinators, and outside partners
- Promote a team environment built on creativity, accountability, and hospitality
- Keep up with industry shifts and bring new thinking to clients and internal teams
- Work closely with Creative, Production, and Strategy teams to deliver high-quality results
Requirements
- At least 8 years of relevant experience, with preference for 3 or more years in an agency setting
- Background in coaching, managing, or developing junior team members
- Experience handling well-known brands and accounts ranging from six figures to multi-million-dollar budgets
- Strong expertise in experiential marketing, including live events, activations, and pop-up experiences for both consumer and business audiences
- Strategic mindset with the ability to balance client goals, creative direction, and commercial objectives
- Good financial judgment, including budgeting, margin oversight, and thoughtful upselling
- Experience partnering with creative teams to shape and execute strong concepts
- Working understanding of event permits, compliance rules, and safety standards
Compensation
The annual salary for this position is $120,000 to $165,000. Placement within this range will depend on experience, performance, skill set, geographic location, and internal pay equity. CNC Agency reviews compensation against market benchmarks to keep pay aligned with the scope and impact of the role.
