About the Role

Acaflix is hiring an Academic Support Advisor to manage the academic support function and handle learner concerns with professionalism and speed. The role is based in Kozhikode/Calicut, Kerala and is intended for someone who can communicate clearly, support students throughout their learning journey, and coordinate smoothly with internal teams.

The ideal candidate should bring strong English fluency, confidence, a proactive mindset, strategic thinking, and the ability to build productive relationships with learners, faculty members, and colleagues. This position plays a key part in shaping a positive student experience by ensuring questions are resolved, support is timely, and academic processes stay on track.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to student queries and concerns through email, support tickets, discussions, and chat.
  • Guide learners when they need help understanding or completing assignments, while offering practical and realistic options.
  • Conduct virtual onboarding for new students and explain the key information they need during their course.
  • Monitor academic progress and track course delivery-related matters.
  • Make sure emails are answered quickly and support calls are managed effectively.
  • Coordinate with admissions, transfer, IT, and membership teams to resolve related issues.
  • Maintain a high standard of student satisfaction by replying promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure learning resources are available in the LMS portal.
  • Support students throughout their programme and help them submit assignments on time.
  • Oversee timely completion of assessment, IV, and EV processes, and ensure certificates are requested correctly.
  • Support EQA audit activities and ensure documentation is properly maintained.
  • Help meet SLA targets and provide regular updates to the Operations Manager and Director.
  • Take on additional tasks as assigned from time to time.

Requirements

  • MBA qualification is required.
  • Strong command of English is essential.
  • Comfortable using technology and digital systems.
  • Confident, self-assured, and able to take initiative.
  • Good critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
  • Capable of acting as a link between different stakeholders.
  • Open to learning new platforms, methods, and technologies.
  • Well-versed in major social media platforms.

  • Preferred education level: Master’s degree.
  • Preferred experience: 3 years in academic support.
  • Preferred communication language: English.
  • Preferred availability: Day shift and night shift.
