Role overview
This remote contract position is focused on supporting the development of next-generation AI systems through rigorous research and high-quality domain input. The work involves turning specialist knowledge into precise, usable material that helps improve how models learn, reason, and perform.
Core responsibilities
- Carry out detailed research and analysis within your field, producing well-supported insights grounded in evidence.
- Work with complex Word and PDF files, including tasks such as tracked edits, form completion, and extracting information.
- Partner with teams across legal, healthcare, policy, and finance functions to support a variety of project requirements.
- Convert technical or specialized findings into concise reports and presentations suitable for Fortune 500-level expectations.
- Review academic papers, legal materials, and sector data, then combine the findings into practical outputs that guide project decisions.
- Check all deliverables carefully to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to provided standards.
- Keep communication clear, professional, and timely with stakeholders and internal team members.
Required qualifications
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in academic research, legal work, policy, healthcare, or a closely related area.
- A Master’s degree, PhD, or JD from an accredited institution.
- Strong hands-on experience reviewing and preparing Word and PDF documents, including formatting, tracked changes, and data extraction.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills, along with strong accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to juggle several priorities effectively in a remote setting with tight deadlines.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams on demanding deliverables.
- A track record of producing polished, client-ready work.
Preferred background
- Exposure to projects for Fortune 500 organizations is an advantage.
- Experience with document workflows in legal, healthcare, policy, or financial operations is preferred.
- Evidence of academic or industry publications and/or presentations is a plus.
