Job description

About the Role

This position is designed for experienced quantitative professionals who can contribute to training AI models. The work involves collaborating with advanced AI systems on tasks such as reviewing AI-produced quantitative analyses, tackling technical challenges, and sharing feedback that helps improve how these models handle data, scientific reasoning, and analytical problems.

Candidates from fields like data science, astrophysics, economics, biostatistics, operations research, and similar quantitative disciplines may be a strong fit. People in this role may use it as a side project alongside a full-time job, while others may make it their main work.

How Selection Works

After creating an account, you will complete a short assessment, which acts as the screening step for the role. Successful applicants receive confirmation by email, and paid assignments are then made available on the platform.

Contracting Benefits

  • You can pick the projects you want to take on and decide when to work on them.
  • The work is flexible and can be done on your own computer, from home, according to your schedule.
  • Pay starts at USD 50 to USD 100+ per hour, and some projects may include bonus compensation.

Responsibilities

  • Review AI-generated quantitative outputs for correctness, including statistical analysis, predictive modeling, scientific reasoning, and data-led conclusions.
  • Create and solve quantitative tasks used to train and evaluate AI systems across forecasting, experimentation, optimization, and statistical inference.
  • Prepare clear technical write-ups and maintain well-structured analytical code.
  • Share feedback that helps improve future AI models focused on quantitative reasoning.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of practical experience in a quantitative role or research setting, such as data science, statistics, economics, finance, physics, biology, epidemiology, or operations research.
  • Prior coding experience is required, along with the ability to write and review analytical code from start to finish.
  • Hands-on familiarity with statistical techniques, predictive modeling, and experimental design, including A/B testing, hypothesis testing, regression, classification, and time-series forecasting.
  • Strong English communication skills at native or bilingual level, especially in writing.
  • A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative subject is preferred, such as Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering; a master’s degree or PhD is considered an advantage.
  • Additional proof of expertise, such as a Kaggle ranking or AWS/GCP machine learning certification, will be viewed positively.

Additional Information

Payment is processed through PayPal. No payment will ever be requested from applicants. PayPal manages any currency conversion from USD. Only candidates based in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand are eligible. This is an independent contractor arrangement.
