Job Overview
We are seeking experienced AC Technicians specializing in marine HVAC systems to join the Red Sea Global Nursery Division, located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This opportunity is open exclusively to candidates from India who hold a diploma or technical certification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, HVAC Technology, or Marine Engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain marine air conditioning systems on yachts, speedboats, and other vessels.
- Diagnose faults such as refrigerant leaks, electrical issues, and compressor malfunctions, carrying out necessary repairs efficiently.
- Overhaul and recharge marine AC setups ensuring safety and system reliability.
- Work effectively under pressure during yacht refits, charters, and peak operational periods.
- Integrate air conditioning systems with yacht management technologies including alarms and automation controls.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience with marine AC systems, particularly chilled water, direct expansion (DX), and split unit types.
- Familiarity with prominent marine HVAC brands such as Dometic, Cruisair, Marine Air Systems, and Webasto.
- Knowledge of marine electrical systems, plumbing, control wiring related to HVAC operations.
- Certification in refrigerant handling (EPA or equivalent) is highly preferred.
- Competency in pipe fitting, pressure control, welding, drainage, pump installation, system design, valve operation, irrigation planning, water conservation, leak detection, and soil analysis skills.
