AC Technician

Overview

We are seeking a proficient HVAC Technician to manage installation, testing, commissioning, preventive upkeep, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects and be able to work autonomously while adhering strictly to safety and quality requirements.

Key Duties

• Install, test, and commission various HVAC equipment types such as Fan Coil Units (FCUs), VRV/VRF Systems, Split, Cassette, and Ductable AC Units, Package Units, as well as Ventilation and Exhaust Systems.
• Execute installation of chilled water piping, refrigerant piping, ducting, insulation, and related accessories.
• Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration system faults.
• Carry out scheduled preventive, predictive, and urgent maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Monitor refrigerant pressures, temperatures, airflow, water flow, and overall system performance.
• Replace components including compressors, expansion valves, motors, bearings, filters, belts, and electrical parts as necessary.
• Conduct vacuuming, nitrogen pressure testing, leak testing, refrigerant charging, and system balancing procedures.
• Maintain detailed maintenance logs, service reports, and inspection documentation.
• Ensure all activities comply with manufacturer guidelines and project specifications.
• Coordinate with teams handling electrical, plumbing, firefighting, and Building Management Systems (BMS) during project tasks.
• Strictly follow safety protocols, permit-to-work procedures, and company HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies.
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns to minimize downtime.

Additional Information

Monthly remuneration ranges between 15,000 and 35,000 INR.
