Role Overview
This is a full-time, on-site position in Jaipur. The role focuses on helping with the day-to-day running of the aashram, such as organizing activities, supporting visitor requirements, and keeping the premises neat and orderly. The person in this role will also assist with event preparation, handle simple administrative work, help maintain communication between residents and management, and make sure schedules and routines stay on track. The job requires close coordination with the team and respectful interaction with everyone connected to the aashram. Some early-morning, evening, or weekend work may be needed for spiritual programs and community events.
Key Duties
- Support routine aashram operations and help keep daily activities running smoothly.
- Coordinate schedules, tasks, and community activities as needed.
- Assist visitors with basic needs and provide courteous, respectful support.
- Help prepare for events and support setup-related work.
- Carry out simple administrative tasks, including basic record management and appointment coordination.
- Serve as a communication link between residents and management when required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
- Uphold the aashram’s values while working collaboratively with other team members.
Requirements
- Strong people skills and clear communication for interacting respectfully with diverse individuals and groups.
- Good organization and time management to handle multiple tasks and follow daily routines.
- Basic administrative capability, including record-keeping, appointment coordination, and use of common office tools or software.
- A service-first attitude and readiness to support spiritual and community activities.
- Dependability, integrity, and the ability to maintain confidentiality where needed.
- Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team.
- Prior exposure to community service, hospitality, or retreat/asram environments is helpful but not compulsory.
- Minimum educational background of secondary education preferred.
- Comfort with Hindi and/or English communication preferred.
- Availability for occasional early morning, evening, or weekend duties.
