About the Role
Guggenheim Securities is looking for exceptional Investment Banking Associates to join its New York team within the Generalist Program. This role involves working closely on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) advisory and capital raising activities across equity and fixed income markets. Associates will collaborate within small client teams handling significant strategic and financing projects, gaining direct exposure to senior bankers and client leadership. Key Responsibilities
- Identifying, researching, and analyzing potential M&A and financing opportunities
- Building and maintaining intricate financial models
- Conducting valuation assessments and reviewing results
- Gathering and synthesizing company and industry data
- Performing due diligence activities for clients
- Drafting information memoranda and transactional documentation
- Preparing client presentations and collaborating with senior bankers, clients, legal counsel, and accounting professionals
- Providing mentorship and development guidance to junior team members
Candidate Qualifications
- Possess 2 to 5 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated core expertise in financial modeling and valuation techniques
- High maturity and team-oriented mindset with the ability to interact effectively with senior corporate executives
- Organized self-starter capable of working independently with minimal oversight
- Strong analytical abilities with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
