Job Responsibilities

• Provide welding support aligned with the shift engineer to address plant operation welding requirements.
• Ensure timely completion of fabrication assignments as scheduled.
• Collaborate with fitters and production teams to fulfill plant operational needs.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and compliance standards throughout all tasks.
• Maintain order and cleanliness following 5S principles in designated work areas.
• Perform arc welding and cutting tasks including fabrication and repair of supports, guards, tanks, and pipelines.
• Assist in repairs for structural components and pressure parts as required.
• Carry out weld quality assurance via visual inspections and leak testing.
• Manage welding tools, consumables, and equipment properly.
• Follow hot work permit procedures and fire safety regulations diligently.

Technical Requirements

• Knowledge and experience with maintenance tasks involving MS and SS sheet cutting and arc welding.
• Expertise in cutting and welding of MS and SS 304/316 pipelines.
• Preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for fabrication materials.
• Understanding of Material of Construction (MOC) standards.
• Basic ability to interpret technical drawings and plant layouts.
• Strict compliance with 100% safety requirements during welding operations.
