Job Overview
The Vice President of Operations will lead the jewelry business from an end-to-end operational and strategic perspective. This position covers long-range planning, product development support, sourcing, manufacturing coordination, quality assurance, and expansion into new markets. The goal is to support durable growth while strengthening the company’s position in the premium jewelry segment.
Core Responsibilities
Set the direction for the jewelry division through medium- and long-term business planning, portfolio optimization, and market positioning.
Oversee the full supply chain, including sourcing, production scheduling, stone setting, quality checks, and delivery, while improving efficiency and cost control.
Lead market growth efforts across B2B and B2C channels, including wholesale relationships, partnership building, and domestic as well as international expansion.
Work closely with design and R&D teams to bring new products to market, improve craftsmanship, and increase product differentiation.
Align design, procurement, production, quality, and sales functions so workflows remain coordinated from concept through final shipment.
Put standardized operating procedures in place and continuously improve execution across teams and functions.
Manage operational, supply-chain, and production risks while maintaining strong quality systems and compliance with relevant industry standards.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate brings 10 to 20 years of experience in jewelry or luxury goods, along with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role at Director level or higher.
A strong understanding of the complete jewelry supply chain is essential.
Experience with global markets or luxury brands will be considered an advantage.
The role calls for strong strategic judgment, hands-on execution, and solid business acumen.
