Vice President Operations and Reliability

About the Role

An established renewable natural gas organization seeks a Vice President to lead Operations and Reliability functions. This executive will oversee enterprise-wide operations, drive maintenance excellence, reliability engineering, and orchestrate planning, scheduling, field execution, and continuous improvement strategies to optimize asset performance, maximize operational efficiency, ensure safety, and achieve strong financial results.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead operational activities across multiple sites ensuring performance goals are met.
• Drive initiatives in maintenance excellence and reliability engineering to improve asset uptime and efficiency.
• Manage planning and scheduling teams alongside field execution to meet operational targets.
• Implement continuous improvement programs enhancing operational KPIs and safety standards.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Over 10 years of progressively responsible leadership roles in operations.
• Minimum 5 years leading teams in maintenance, reliability, or operational divisions.
• Proven experience managing operations across multiple locations.
• Track record of successfully enhancing reliability and maintenance outcomes and advancing operational KPIs.
• Background in implementing enterprise-wide operational systems and governance structures.
• Preferred experience with IoT technologies, predictive maintenance, or AI-driven operational tools.
• Desirable experience overseeing customer operations and maintenance or service-centric profit & loss models.
