Role Overview

The Vice President of Finance Operations will lead the Finance Operations team ensuring smooth and efficient financial processes within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and lead the Finance Operations team effectively.
• Oversee payment and receipt procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct detailed reviews of reconciliations involving clients and brokers.
• Validate investment security tagging, update last done pricing, and prepare investment reports.
• Examine daily accounting entries for correct posting within the accounting system.
• Review reconciliations related to payments, receipts, miscellaneous items, and trade debtors.
• Monitor Anti-Money Laundering (AML) transactions for compliance.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors as required.
• Lead initiatives aimed at process improvement and driving team efficiency.
• Provide ongoing guidance and support to the Finance team members.
• Contribute to finance transformation projects and support new product introductions.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Have between 8 to 10 years of professional experience in Accounting and Finance, demonstrating a strong grasp of finance operations business processes.
• Experience with finance automation and digitalization initiatives.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse stakeholder groups and consistently deliver results within a dynamic environment.
• Proven track record of managing and leading teams.
• Familiarity with comprehensive Finance Operations, preferably within the securities broking industry.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude, attention to detail, and quick learning capability.
