Role Overview

The Vice President of Customer Security & Trust is a senior leadership role that acts as the primary security representative in interactions with potential and existing clients. This position collaborates cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, Legal, and Compliance teams to facilitate technical security discussions, provide due diligence support, and strengthen customer trust in the company's security framework, controls, and operational robustness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead security engagements including detailed security reviews, architectural assessments, due diligence, and executive briefings for customers and prospects.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 12 years in information security with deep expertise in Security Architecture, Cloud Security, Application Security, and Regulatory Compliance.
  • Proven track record of conducting advanced technical security discussions with customers, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Strong proficiency in modern security architecture including cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, SaaS platforms, APIs, and distributed systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of identity and access management, encryption, network and application security, monitoring and logging, and incident response techniques.
  • Hands-on familiarity with key security standards and frameworks like ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, CSA CCM, and privacy regulations such as GDPR.
  • Ability to distill complex technical concepts into accessible explanations tailored for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong presence in executive-level interactions.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in customer-facing security roles such as Customer Security Architect, Security Assurance, or Trust Office functions.
