Job description
About the Role
Join a US-based IT staffing firm expanding its bench sales team in Ahmedabad. You will operate onsite at our Prahladnagar office during night shifts aligned with US Eastern Time and promote consultants with various US work authorizations (H1B, USC, GC, OPT/CPT, H4-EAD) to major US vendors and partners, facilitating their submission through to placement.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote bench consultants to prime vendors, tier-1 vendors, and partners for C2C contractual positions.
- Identify active job openings via Dice, LinkedIn, job boards, and C2C vendor communities on WhatsApp, Telegram, and Google Groups.
- Develop and manage a comprehensive database of US vendor recruiter contacts.
- Distribute daily hotlists of available consultants to the vendor network.
- Match consultant profiles with job requirements and submit with rate approvals and Right-to-Represent documentation.
- Negotiate compensation and secure optimal profit margins.
- Coach consultants for interviews and oversee scheduling.
- Manage documentation including RTR, MSA/PO coordination, and rate confirmations.
- Maintain routine submission and interview tracking reports.
- Foster long-term vendor relationships to ensure repeat engagements.
Required Skills and Experience
- Knowledge of the US IT employment landscape, including tax classifications (C2C, W2, 1099) and visa types (H1B, GC, USC, OPT, CPT, H4-EAD, TN).
- Familiarity with US geographic and time zone considerations.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency with platforms such as Dice, Monster, LinkedIn, and applicant tracking systems like Ceipal or JobDiva.
- Ability to negotiate and follow up effectively.
- Availability to work night shifts (6:30 PM to 3:30 AM IST) onsite at Prahladnagar office.
Preferred Qualifications
- Existing network of US vendor contacts.
- Proven record of consistent monthly placements.
- Experience ranging from 0 to over 3 years in similar roles.
Additional Information
Employment is full-time at the Ahmedabad Prahladnagar location, working onsite during US Eastern Time hours. Salary is commensurate with experience.
