Tugger Driver

Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable Tugger Driver who prioritizes safety to become a vital part of our team. This role involves safely and efficiently moving materials and components within our warehouse or production facility, contributing to smooth daily operations.

Key Duties

• Safely operate a tugger vehicle to transfer materials between warehouse, production, and storage zones.
• Ensure materials are delivered promptly to production lines.
• Gather empty pallets, containers, and reusable packaging materials.
• Perform daily pre-operation checks on the tugger vehicle.
• Comply with all safety protocols and traffic rules at the workplace.
• Provide assistance with loading and unloading as necessary.
• Record material movements accurately and maintain documentation.
• Immediately report any equipment issues or safety hazards.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the work area.

Candidate Requirements

• Completion of high school or its equivalent.
• At least 1 to 2 years experience in operating a tugger within warehouse or manufacturing settings.
• Possession of a valid tugger or forklift operator license/certification, if applicable.
• Basic comprehension of warehouse processes and material handling.
• Capability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Availability to work various shifts and overtime when necessary.
