Overview
We are seeking experienced Travel Consultants to enhance our dedicated Government portfolio at FCM's Canberra office. Join a vibrant, team-oriented environment that values hard work and fun, offering a balanced mix of onsite work with two days remote weekly.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize comprehensive travel plans including international flights, car rentals, hotel reservations, and ground transportation primarily using Sabre GDS.
- Manage complex fare structures, ticket exchanges, itinerary modifications, and phase IV processes with precision and speed.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with corporate clients within your assigned portfolio.
- Ensure service is provided within established service level agreements while maintaining outstanding quality.
- Adhere to company protocols and account-specific procedures on ticketing and GDS productivity.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues to guarantee flawless client service delivery.
Candidate Profile
- Experience of at least two years in travel consulting or travel management roles.
- Proficient in global distribution systems, preferably Sabre.
- Detail-oriented in managing multifaceted travel itineraries.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective relationship management.
- Ability to thrive in a team-based working environment.
- Business-minded with a passion for sales and customer service excellence.
Compensation and Benefits
- First-year on-target earnings starting at $85,000+, including a $55,000 base salary plus uncapped monthly incentives and superannuation.
- Training salary guaranteed at $80,000 per annum plus super for the initial six months.
