Role Overview

As a Senior Manager, you will collaborate with Accenture teams and client organizations to design and lead strategic transformation programs for large enterprises and governmental bodies. Your leadership will span complex initiatives involving process reengineering, technological implementation including AI, and organizational change. By overseeing key workstreams, you will help clients enhance efficiency and operational effectiveness, integrating technology solutions to transform working models.

The role demands translating business challenges into actionable transformation strategies combining process redesign, operating model adjustments, AI and automation, data and technology deployments, plus ensuring value realization. You will be directly responsible for guiding workstreams to achieve outcomes, managing stakeholder engagement, tracking benefits, and ensuring that solutions are feasible and strategically aligned.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute internal or client transformation programs.
  • Apply expertise in technology-driven transformation, with experience in areas such as AI, Cloud, Data, Security, enterprise platforms, and core systems.
  • Develop and implement practical target-state process designs, governance frameworks, and detailed implementation plans.
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of client data, operating models, and processes to recommend improvements and define metrics for value realization including productivity, cost savings, experience enhancements, and risk mitigation.
  • Oversee daily program delivery, addressing planning, issue resolution, stakeholder coordination, and decision facilitation.
  • Create executive-level presentations, proposals, and business cases for senior client leadership.
  • Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships to influence key client decisions, while fostering extensive internal networks.
  • Mentor junior team members through coaching, deliverable reviews, and career development support, possibly serving as a People Lead.
  • Contribute to business growth through sales efforts, capability development, and thought leadership, consistently meeting chargeability and performance targets.
  • Identify practice improvement opportunities, share insights and best practices across teams, and support thought leadership initiatives.
  • Adapt flexibly to evolving priorities and demands in a dynamic environment.

Experience & Expertise

  • Possess a relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Have at least 9 years of experience in professional services or similar environments, with exposure to senior stakeholders and strategic transformation delivery.
  • Demonstrate deep knowledge in sectors such as financial services, consumer goods, communications, media, technology, healthcare, or public services; or specialized expertise in transformation, strategy, process reengineering, or technical domains like AI, data, cloud, or security.
  • Understand the work and responsibilities of collaborating teams.

Decision-Making & Influence

  • Receive supervisory guidance on task prioritization, managing assignments typically on weekly or bi-weekly bases.
  • Accountable for outputs that affect multiple teams; errors may have escalated consequences.
  • Participate in risk mitigation decisions and contribute to broader business area decisions.
  • Provide solutions that affect multiple team efforts, offering guidance regularly.
  • Directly supervise up to 10 individuals and indirectly oversee up to 55 team members if management responsibilities apply.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Frequently engage with mid-level management internally, providing project updates, addressing inquiries, leading status meetings, and setting future directions.
