Transformation and Process Optimization Consultant

Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Transformation and Process Optimization Consultant to enhance the analysis, digital transformation, automation, and streamlining of business workflows within large IT and telecommunications sectors. This position focuses on creating business cases, steering transformation projects, performing thorough process analysis, and supporting data-based decisions in environments subject to strict regulations and high security demands.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and refine business processes within complicated IT and telecommunications organizations.
• Create strategies for digitalization, automation, and transformation that align with company goals.
• Develop business cases for IT, artificial intelligence projects, and process enhancements, encompassing return on investment, cost-benefit analyses, key performance indicator frameworks, and tracking benefits.
• Perform process discovery, mining, and mapping utilizing BPMN 2.0, Celonis, and similar software.
• Draft executive-level decision documents, recommendations, and presentations for management.
• Lead workshops and manage stakeholder engagement involving technical groups, business units, operational staff, and top executives.
• Assist transformation and change management efforts ensuring steady operations and sustained performance gains.
• Guarantee that process redesign and execution meet regulatory, legal, organizational, and security standards.
• Champion process automation initiatives leveraging platforms like Celonis, ServiceNow, Camunda, Pegasystems, Symbio, K2, and robotic process automation technologies.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in business process improvement, digital transformation, or IT/telecom consulting within large organizations exceeding 10,000 employees.
• A minimum of 5 years in security-critical and heavily regulated environments.
• Demonstratable success in developing business cases and value realization models for IT and AI projects.
• Advanced skills in process analysis, mining, and modeling, particularly with BPMN 2.0 and Celonis.
• Practical experience in leading large-scale transformation and automation programs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, including dealings with executive and C-suite levels.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem resolution, and presentation competence.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge or experience working in railway, mobility, transportation, or other critical infrastructure sectors.
• Recent hands-on involvement in significant transformation programs within the previous five years.
• Experience expanding change management and optimization initiatives throughout substantial enterprises.
