Job description
Position Summary
We are looking for a Regional Total Rewards Specialist responsible for supporting the design, communication, implementation, and management of Total Rewards programs for Samsung Southeast Asia & Oceania. This role is critical in driving total rewards initiatives that enhance the attraction and retention of top talent within the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee rewards activities such as salary reviews, market benchmarking, and pay equity analyses across Singapore and the SEAO Region.
- Develop salary package proposals and assist with compensation reviews across SEAO markets.
- Manage annual reward-related processes, including Performance Evaluation and Promotion Review cycles.
- Administer benefits programs like insurance and statutory requirements in compliance with Singapore employment laws.
- Create and maintain detailed benefits documentation, policies, and employee guidance materials.
- Communicate effectively with employees about benefits, compensation, and the total rewards value proposition.
- Design and roll out new rewards and benefit initiatives as needed.
- Collaborate with Finance to manage benefits budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Collaborate closely with Regional Compensation & Benefits, Total Rewards, HR, and Talent Acquisition teams to ensure aligned priorities and provide insight and recommendations on compensation and benefits.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with stakeholders by providing proactive communication and timely assistance.
- Coordinate with third-party providers for benefits plans and resolve issues related to benefits administration.
- Manage Workday modules related to Compensation & Benefits and support enhancements to HR systems and processes.
- Analyze compensation and benefits data to identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies in total rewards programs.
- Support regional Total Rewards projects and other C&B related initiatives as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits or Total Rewards, preferably with regional or multinational exposure.
- In-depth understanding of compensation and benefits practices, regulations, compliance, and market trends.
- Hands-on experience with compensation analysis, salary benchmarking, and managing annual reward cycles.
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and working knowledge of Workday salary and total rewards data; familiarity with Mercer data is advantageous.
- High ethical standards with the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information discreetly.
