About The Narmco Group
The Narmco Group is a prominent leader in the automotive sector, specializing in metal stamping and assembly. Their stamping operations involve progressive and tandem dies, focusing on deep draw, aluminum, ultra high strength steel (UHSS), and complex stamping tooling.
Position Overview
The company is seeking an experienced Tool & Die Maker to join their professional team. This role entails reading and interpreting die designs, CAD files, sketches, and other technical information to fabricate metal stamping dies. The position requires verifying material types, grades, and dimensions to confirm suitability according to engineering documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and understand die designs and engineering details from CAD and sketches.
- Confirm material specifications including type, grade, and dimensions to ensure compatibility with project requirements.
- Assemble and align die components following engineering tolerances for clearances and layout.
- Diagnose and resolve quality or functional issues in dies by measuring, modifying, and re-testing until final quality standards are met.
Candidate Requirements
- Possession of Tool & Die Maker (Red Seal) certification or an equivalent blend of technical training and experience.
- Three to five years minimum experience in toolmaking within a tool and die environment focused on new tooling fabrication.
- Proven ability in constructing progressive, transfer, and robotic transfer dies for automotive metal stamping.
- Experience with automotive sheet metal stamping processes, including understanding formability and design considerations.
- Strong customer service skills paired with effective communication abilities, both oral and written.
- Good organizational skills and a team-oriented approach.

Compensation
The hourly wage ranges from $25 to $33.
