Ticket Agent

About the Role

Enlighten Travel & Tours Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a skilled Ticket Agent to manage domestic and international airline reservations efficiently. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing ticketing operations, providing travel information, and ensuring client satisfaction through excellent service.

Primary Duties

• Manage flight bookings using Global Distribution Systems (GDS) or airline websites for both domestic and international flights.
• Issue, reissue, cancel, and refund tickets following airline regulations and policies.
• Deliver detailed and accurate flight schedules, fare information, baggage allowances, and travel-related conditions to clients.
• Track reservations closely to guarantee timely ticket issuance within deadlines.
• Promptly address customer queries through various communication channels including phone, email, social media, and direct contact.
• Assist customers in selecting travel plans that align with their preferences and budget.
• Tackle ticketing challenges, itinerary modifications, and other travel-related concerns with professionalism.
• Collaborate with airlines, travel partners, and internal teams to facilitate seamless travel arrangements.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of airline fare regulations, ongoing promotions, schedules, and relevant industry standards.
• Support sales and operations teams to provide smooth and effective travel services.

Required Qualifications

• Possess a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent educational qualification is preferred.
• Hold a minimum of 1 to 2 years' experience in airline ticketing or the broader travel sector.
• Certification in any Global Distribution System such as Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre is advantageous.
