Role Overview
- Position: Test Engineer
- Working hours: Full-time during normal business hours
Role Purpose and Key Responsibilities
This role is created to support the NetLine Sched and NetLine Slot teams by maintaining and advancing specific product components. The successful candidate will join a newly formed team focused on product growth and renewal.
- Participate in implementation projects within cross-functional teams focusing on testing and development of test processes.
- Collaborate with domain business experts to develop comprehensive test cases.
- Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts.
- Enhance existing testing frameworks by developing new features.
- Engage actively throughout the software development lifecycle, improving QA strategies proactively.
- Assess and estimate requirements from a testing perspective.
- Collaborate intensively with team members and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality testing across all levels.
- Undertake special tasks as assigned.
Candidate Profile
Mandatory Qualifications and Experience
- Formal qualifications as standard at the company.
- Extensive experience in software development, testing, and automation.
- Strong practical knowledge in both functional and non-functional testing.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, K6, JMeter, Pact, and Mocha.
- Knowledge of testing monolithic software, web applications, and APIs.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language.
- Competency with Git and GitHub.
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies.
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, team orientation, and cross-cultural sensitivity.
- High commitment, initiative, resilience, and flexibility.
- Innovative mindset with strong conceptual, systematic, and goal-oriented work abilities.
- Readiness to assume responsibility and develop decision-ready proposals aligned with business principles.
- Strong communication skills with customer service orientation; ability to clearly and effectively present complex ideas.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Willingness to travel and work onsite domestically and internationally.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in international development teams.
- Background in performance testing.
- Knowledge of GitHub Actions.
Technical Environment
The primary technology stack includes ReactJS and Java.
