Test Automation Architect

Join INFOSERVICES DIGITECH INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED as a Test Automation Architect based in Hyderabad, India. This role involves leading the design and development of scalable and maintainable test automation frameworks for web, API, and mobile platforms, utilizing advanced tools and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop reusable and scalable test automation frameworks for diverse applications using technologies including Playwright, WebDriverIO, and RestAssured.
• Establish and refine automation strategies within Agile and DevOps settings, identifying potential automation opportunities within CI/CD workflows to enhance test coverage and execution efficiency.
• Drive proof of concept initiatives, exploring new tools and recommending improvements to existing frameworks.
• Investigate and incorporate AI/ML-based testing tools such as self-healing scripts, automated test data generation, and intelligent test prioritization to boost automation efficacy.
• Mentor QA engineers and SDETs, fostering skill development and creating educational materials to support cross-team knowledge sharing.
• Set and enforce best practices in automation including test design patterns, code reviews, static analysis, and branching strategies to ensure high quality and maintainability.
• Continuously assess and recommend new tools, frameworks, and techniques to enhance testing platforms and processes.
• Collaborate closely with QA leads, developers, DevOps, and product teams to ensure seamless integration of automation throughout the software lifecycle.
• Conduct manual and automation testing as required to support project objectives.

Qualifications

• Over 15 years of experience in software testing, with more than 10 years specializing in test automation.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Playwright, WebDriverIO, and RestAssured with extensive experience building automation frameworks from the ground up.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD pipeline integration involving tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with BDD and TDD methodologies and associated tools such as Cucumber and Mocha.
• Skilled in API testing including validation of requests and responses, as well as contract testing.
• Keen interest or experience in applying AI/ML concepts to test automation, including exposure to tools like Claude.
• Strong grasp of testing standards, coding best practices, and overarching software quality principles.
• Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and ability to work collaboratively within teams.
