Role Overview

Within MWM, a Caterpillar Energy Solutions brand, the focus is on delivering energy solutions with high-performance gas engines tailored for efficient combined heat and power (CHP) plants.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new customers for both new CHP plants and services including modernization (retrofit) of existing installations.
- Manage ongoing maintenance, provide consulting, and nurture long-lasting relationships with current clients.
- Analyze client needs to develop customized solutions, collaborating with specialist departments and external partners as necessary.
- Prepare, configure, price, and follow up on tailored offers for new plants and service products.
- Handle tender processing, conduct market monitoring and analysis, and produce comprehensive reports.
- Lead contract negotiations and reviews involving relevant departments to ensure agreement compliance.
- Evaluate incoming orders to allocate them appropriately within specialist teams.
- Adhere strictly to environmental, health, and occupational safety regulations.
- Represent the company at industry trade fairs and conferences to showcase solutions and network.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a university degree or completed vocational training with relevant advanced education in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, energy industry, or a closely related discipline.
- Have several years of proven experience selling complex technical products and/or services, ideally linked to combined heat and power solutions.
- Excel in interpersonal relations, effective communication, and demonstrate a customer-first mindset.
- Show strong persuasion and negotiation skills vital for closing deals and fostering partnerships.
- Display self-motivation, adaptability, and readiness to embrace challenges.
- Willing to undertake travel obligations and hold a valid Class B driving license.
- Proficient in English communication, both written and oral, at a minimum of B1 level.
