Overview
The position of Territory Manager for 2-Wheeler Loans involves generating and managing loan business through dealer networks and existing channel partners. This role demands building a superior quality loan portfolio while strictly following internal policy frameworks and regulatory requirements. The individual will lead a team, nurture strong connections in the market, and stimulate growth aligned with the bank’s retail lending agenda.
Key Duties
- Source and manage loan business via dealers and other channels within the territory.
- Acquire new customers and maintain steady loan disbursement volumes.
- Ensure portfolio quality by minimizing delinquency rates and loan rejections.
- Oversee channel partners to align activities with strategic business objectives.
- Remain informed on retail asset offerings, operational workflows, and sector trends.
- Analyze market changes and formulate strategies for channel growth and customer acquisition.
- Comply fully with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Suggest improvements to sales and credit processes to boost efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Promote departmental collaboration to guarantee smooth service delivery.
- Enhance sourcing through strategic alliances and direct outreach channels.
Candidate Profile
- Graduation in any discipline is required; postgraduate qualifications like MBA or PGDM are advantageous.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in retail lending with preference for 2-wheeler loan or asset financing sector.
- Comprehensive understanding of retail lending frameworks and credit management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated capabilities in managing sales channels and elevating business outcomes.
- Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Analytical with emphasis on portfolio risk assessment and quality maintenance.
- Leadership ability with experience in team and cross-functional coordination.
- High ethical standards and adherence to compliance regulations.
