Telehealth General Practitioner - Western Australia

Position Summary

We are looking for experienced doctors registered with AHPRA to become part of our telehealth medical team, delivering care remotely to patients across Western Australia. This role is ideal for medical professionals based in Western Australia who are available to work primarily in the late afternoon to evening hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive and high-quality telehealth consultations for a diverse patient demographic and wide range of medical conditions.
• Ensure compliance with Western Australian prescribing laws, including confident handling of Schedule 8 medications within a remote care setting.
• Conduct clinical evaluations, issue prescriptions for Schedules 4 and 8 drugs, and perform necessary follow-up appointments.
• Collaborate closely with nursing staff and support teams to facilitate smooth patient care pathways.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation and adhere to compliance standards within a primarily digital care environment.
• Utilize and adapt to digital health technologies to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
• Demonstrate unwavering dedication to delivering continuous, patient-centered care.

Additional Information

This role is primarily scheduled between 3pm and 9pm local Western Australian time, though some flexibility is expected to meet patient demand.
