About Yuno
Yuno serves as an AI-native operating system designed to streamline global commerce by powering financial infrastructure for enterprise merchants, banks, and wallets worldwide. Offering a single API, Yuno connects over a thousand payment methods and 460+ integrations across more than 190 countries, enabling smooth operations in areas like pay-ins, payouts, fraud prevention, KYC/KYB, and stablecoins. Trusted by major brands such as McDonald's Arcos Dorados, NetEase Games, GoFundMe, inDrive, and Rappi, Yuno helps financial institutions modernize without replacing core systems, preparing them for next-generation commerce technologies.
Role Overview
Yuno is advancing towards its 2030 vision of becoming the autonomous, programmable operating system for global commerce. We seek a highly technical and execution-driven Technical Product Manager (TPM) to act as the Single Threaded Leader (STL) for Client Experience—overseeing how clients interact with our platform. This role encompasses three interconnected domains: Developer Platform & API, Client Identity, Data & Access, and Checkout & Client Experiences. You will be positioned at the nexus of technology and business value, accountable for delivering scalable developer experiences, managing merchant account access, and enhancing every customer touchpoint across Yuno’s ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the ultimate single-threaded leader for client experience, translating broad business objectives into detailed, versioned APIs and event-driven system architectures across the developer platform, identity management, and checkout components.
- Analyze and enhance end-to-end client journeys, ensuring seamless transitions between the developer platform, identity and permissions, and checkout experiences that customers engage with.
- Lead the development of agentic platform features aimed at minimizing coding effort for onboarding through AI-assisted flows and self-serve sandboxes, shifting from traditional documentation-heavy integrations to largely autonomous user experiences.
- Maintain and enforce a "Stop the Line" quality culture, guaranteeing a high stability floor with automated quality assurance for API gateways, identity/access controls, and checkout functionalities.
- Provide cross-functional leadership by managing multiple autonomous engineering pods, collaborating with senior engineers and CTO leadership to eliminate silos and foster integration.
- Champion a "You Build It, You Run It" (YBIYRI) engineering philosophy, focusing on the reliability and ownership of all delivered components, including public API gateways and checkout SDKs.
- Prioritize initiatives through evidence-based frameworks like RICE to convert complex multi-domain needs into clear, actionable roadmaps.
Required Qualifications
- Strong technical expertise in cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, APIs, event-driven platforms, and modern software engineering tools including Kotlin, Go, gRPC, REST, and serverless technologies.
- Demonstrated experience in Platform-as-a-Product with capabilities involving developer APIs/SDKs, identity and access management systems, or checkout and commerce user interfaces.
- Proven execution skills to accelerate delivery across multiple domains, remove blockers, manage dependencies, and optimize engineering metrics.
- A “Maker” mindset valuing modular and scalable architecture when coordinating across overlapping product domains.
- Business acuity to communicate technical trade-offs and align technical requirements with organizational growth goals for executive stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with API gateway design and versioning schemes, SSO and permission models, merchant reporting and analytics, and checkout/SDK implementations including hosted pages and embedded web/mobile solutions.
