Role Overview

We are seeking a Technical Content Specialist responsible for creating and updating all technical and user-directed materials related to Pangram’s AI detection technology. This position demands a deep understanding of the model architecture, training processes, and evaluation techniques. The specialist will translate complex statistical concepts—such as false positive rates and how prevalence impacts accuracy—for both technical experts and general audiences. Collaboration with research and engineering teams is essential to maintain technical accuracy throughout all publications.

Key Duties

• Compose and edit detailed technical papers outlining the AI model’s architecture, training methods, and evaluation outcomes.
• Author technical reports presenting studies on the occurrence of AI-generated content across internet domains, covering the methodology, findings, and analysis comprehensively.
• Develop user-friendly materials including guides, FAQs, and social media explanations that assist in product use and understanding detection metrics such as false positives and accuracy influenced by prevalence.
• Clarify complex detection result interpretations—confidence levels, thresholds, and trade-offs between false positives and negatives—for audiences without technical backgrounds.
• Document methodology, model functionality, and limitations accurately and accessibly for users.
• Collaborate with researchers and engineers to convert evaluations, benchmarks, and model updates into published technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Proven capability to grasp and clearly communicate machine learning subjects including model architecture, training, and statistical evaluations.
• Strong knowledge of applied statistics and probability, covering false positive/negative rates, precision, recall, and impact of prevalence on prediction accuracy.
• Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to tailor content for both expert and layman readers.
• Comfortable working closely with research and engineering teams as a technical peer.

Preferred Skills

• Background in machine learning and natural language processing, especially in text classification and model evaluation.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as ROC curves, precision-recall curves, calibration plots, and confusion matrices.
• Familiarity with documentation and publication workflows.
