Role Overview
The Talent Acquisition Partner will be a strategic player with deep knowledge of the B2B SaaS hiring ecosystem, responsible for sourcing with purpose and maintaining high standards for both candidates and recruitment processes. This role requires high accountability and regards recruitment as an expert craft. The position is on-site based in Austin, TX (with options including Boston and Palo Alto), requiring presence in the office three days a week.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for Go-To-Market and Business teams including Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Partnerships, from initial candidate sourcing through offer acceptance.
- Collaborate intimately with hiring managers to define optimal candidate profiles, clearly outline role requirements, and align on realistic market expectations.
- Lead and execute proactive sourcing strategies to build talent pipelines, creatively reaching candidates beyond typical channels using market insights.
- Conduct a smooth, respectful hiring process featuring structured interviews, transparent and timely feedback, ensuring every candidate is well-informed.
- Deliver a positive candidate journey that elevates Port.io’s employer brand regardless of hiring outcomes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the GTM talent market by tracking movements, identifying exceptional talent, and understanding competitor approaches.
- Act as an ambassador for Port.io’s employer brand at every recruitment stage from initial outreach to final offer conversations.
Candidate Requirements
- Ability to work on-site in one of the company locations (Boston, Austin, or Palo Alto) with a requirement to attend the office three days weekly.
- Up to five years of comprehensive recruitment experience within SaaS or fast-growing tech environments, ideally within a global recruiting team.
- Proven versatility in recruiting across diverse business functions and managing complex hiring needs effectively.
- Excellent partnership skills enabling strong collaboration with leaders, confident influence in discussions, trust-building capabilities, and adeptness at navigating ambiguous situations.
- Demonstrated intelligence, curiosity, and quick learning skills to rapidly grasp organizational and talent dynamics.
- Expertise in sourcing and a forward-thinking recruitment approach focused on identifying and engaging top-tier candidates proactively.
