Role Summary

The System Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the management and operational support of physical security systems installed across India for Wipro. This role involves monitoring the performance of security applications and servers, coordinating system troubleshooting, and ensuring the effective maintenance and upgrades of physical security infrastructure.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Uphold Pinkerton's principles of integrity, vigilance, and excellence at all times.
• Deliver precise monitoring, operation, and reporting related to physical security applications, servers, and database performance.
• Provide assistance in security audits and manage access control and incident reporting for physical security systems.
• Collaborate with system integrators, Wipro’s IT teams, and original equipment manufacturers to resolve system faults and apply necessary patch updates.
• Support the implementation and monitoring of maintenance schedules for electronic security systems.
• Conduct regular self-assessments to enhance the efficiency of electronic security technologies.
• Participate in proof-of-concepts (POCs) related to new and upgraded electronic security technologies.
• Perform additional assigned duties as required.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency with IP CCTV cameras, Network Video Recorders (NVRs), Local Area Networks (LAN), and video management systems.
• Competency in retrieving recorded video footage and configuring analytics on IP cameras.
• Familiarity with electronic security devices including access control systems, power fencing, boom barriers, and turnstiles.
• Strong problem-solving skills with effective verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within tight deadlines.
• Understanding of network security architectures and security technology requirements.
• Basic knowledge of Generative Artificial Intelligence technologies.

Working Environment and Physical Demands
